Van Harten

A neighboring clan to the Tybre who call home to Finland, Sweden, and Norway, they are typically of Nordic decent. They embrace the ways of seafaring and the rough cold weather. They are stronger and faster than mortals and produce very formidable warriors. They enjoy drinking and feasting and fighting. They are a hearty sort that teach their women as well as their men the more brash of their abilities. They have a slight discomfort in the sun when they are younger, but as they grow older, they can go out with ease. They have very limited magical abilities, tending to be used for mild healing, scrying and fortune telling. They have enough elemental understanding to start fires and apply it to the more practical uses of life. They are able to form some mental defense, but they do not possess strong mental attacks or mind reading abilities on other vampires.
